Hey there. I'm Martina and I thoroughly enjoy music.
A few years ago, I used to do this band promoting page on Myspace (oh my!) called 6 Up Front. It bombed for the most part, but I had so much fun doing it. Since then, I've been up and down with my music listening habits for a number of reasons and it hasn't been until recently that I've really spent much time listening to it. As a musician myself, this makes me upset. But fear not! I've had a reboost and I can hardly find myself away from it anymore. Thank the Lord, for real! :)

I've been reading a few of my friends own pages about music in their lives and I just can't force myself to not do the same. So that's what this page is for--music and more music. I like all kinds and plan to talk about all different kinds. If anyone knows me, though, they know my favorite genre is punk, followed by indie (the really crazy kind, closer to math rock). As of late, I've kind of sort of been on a hardcore kick. Like, legitimate hardcore, when the term was originally coined. Think Minor Threat, Black Flag, Bad Brains. That kinda hardcore. I found this wonderful band called Break The Curse who dub themselves Chicago hardcore. They really really love Jesus. :) And they have their album, World's Greatest Dad, up for free on their bandcamp site! Highly recommend it if you love great lyrics and great musicians.
